What Certification Means To Me

Being a nationally certified teacher of music has raised the bar for me as a professional. Naturally, an outgrowth of certification manifests in higher expectations for my students. They deserve the topmost level of instruction from me and being a certified teacher emboldens me to challenge them to levels beyond their imagination. For the music teacher, certification substantiates the highest echelon of our profession to those outside the field of music. MTNA certification is an essential component for all professional teachers of music.
